Dr. Uthiraleka G, BAMS, MS (Prasuti Tantra & Stree Roga) is an Ayurvedic Gynaecologist and Obstetrician specialising in women’s health, reproductive care and Ayurvedic gynaecology. She completed her postgraduate degree with university rank and distinction. Her clinical focus includes PCOS, endometriosis, menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhoea, infertility, pelvic organ prolapse, pre-conception, antenatal and postpartum care. She has specialised training in Ayurvedic gynaecological procedures including Uttara Basti and Sthanika Chikitsa, along with Yoni Pichu and Yoni Prakshalana where clinically appropriate. She also has training in Varma Chikitsa, with a particular interest in its traditional application in pain management and musculoskeletal and gynaecological pain conditions. Alongside clinical practice, Dr. Uthiraleka is actively involved in clinical research, academic presentations and scholarly work in women's health. Her research interests include Ayurvedic approaches to reproductive disorders, local therapies, pain management, infertility and integrative women's healthcare. She has presented papers at national and international academic forums and contributed to scholarly work in areas including pelvic organ prolapse, dysmenorrhoea, pain management and women's health. Her approach combines traditional Ayurvedic principles with appropriate modern clinical assessment, with an emphasis on personalised, evidence-informed and patient-centred care. She is committed to contributing to patient care, clinical research, professional education and public awareness in women's health.
